Sheenshot is built so your screenshots stay with you. This page explains, in plain language, what the app and this website do with your data.
In the app
- Your screenshots stay on your Mac. Captures, history, guides, brand settings and presets are stored only on your computer, in the app's own folder.
- Text is read on your Mac. History search uses macOS's built-in text recognition. Nothing is sent to any server.
- No account, no tracking. The app asks for no sign-up and collects no usage analytics.
- Screen Recording. macOS asks for this permission so Sheenshot can capture the screen. It is only used when you take a capture.
- Buying Pro. When Pro is available, the purchase is made and processed by Apple on the Mac App Store. We never receive your card details.
On this website
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log technical access data (such as IP address and browser) for security and operation.
- The waitlist and support form use Tally. What you write there (name, email, message and screenshot, if you send one) is only used to tell you about the launch or to reply to you.
- We use no advertising cookies and never sell data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data you sent through the forms, or leave the waitlist, at any time, through the support page.
